Saturday Night in Prospect Park: Celebrate Brooklyn! presents Souad Massi / Simon Shaheen in Concert Marking 50th Anniversary of Algerian Independence
Tonight we spent a wonderful few hours at the Prospect Park Bandshell listening to the great Algerian singer Souad Massi, as well as to the sweet sounds of Palestinian violin and oud master Simon Shaheen in a Celebrate Brooklyn! concert marking the fiftieth anniversary of Algerian independence on July 2, 1962.
