Saturday Afternoon in Hoboken: We Barbarians and The Nightmare River Band at the Lackawanna Music Festival at Pier A Park

This afternoon we spent a couple of hours enjoying today's hMag Lackawanna Music Festival at Pier A Park in Hoboken, getting a chance to enjoy the early festivities and two great Brooklyn bands who served as the auspicious opening acts, The Nightmare River Band and We Barbarians.

This was the third year of the festival, presented by Ben & Jerry's. We got there soon after it began at noon; it runs until 10 p.m. tonight, emceed by Matt Pinfield, host of the MTV2 show 120 Minutes. Tokyo Police Club will headline tonight, and the other bands performing are Vacationer, Shinobi Ninja, Body Language and Lights Resolve.
