Monday Night on the Upper East Side: "The Violet Mirror: How LGBT Literature Reflects Its Culture" panel at the 86th Street Barnes and Noble

We were lucky enough to attend a fascinating panel discussion tonight at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble at 86th and Lex. Featuring the legendary Ann Bannon, whose books we have taught; gay publishing pioneers like editor Don Wiese, the prolific Eric Marcus and veteran activist Erin McHugh (who served as moderator); and the award-winning young literary YA novelist Nick Burd, "The Violet Mirror: How LGBT Literature Reflects Its Culture" proved to be a memorable 100 minutes of commentary and conversation.

We're grateful to the insightful and articulate panelists and to B&N for this strikingly interesting event.
